• Hello, my name is Venice Whyte, and I am an Inclusion teacher. I have been working at M.P.T.C.S since 2014.

Prior to teaching at MPTCHS, I taught English Language and Literature for ten years in Jamaica. For two years, I worked as a substitute teacher in the Newark Public School District then worked with the Irvington Public School district as a Language Arts/Special Education teacher for three years. I currently hold a B.A. in Literatures in English (from the University of the West Indies, Mona); a Diploma in Education (from V.T.D.I, Jamaica); a Certificate in Teacher of Studies with Disabilities (from Bloomfield College);and a Master’s in Education (Literacy and Learning in the Content Area) from Walden University.

The success of future generations is largely contingent on the efforts of the current one. On this premise, I believe that as an educator it is my duty to be a part of this mobilization effort. As such, my motivation is to positively influence the next generation.
