Chef Bernardino was born and raised in Newark, NJ. After graduating high school Chef went on to pursue her dreams to become a chef and went to Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. She was the first student from her University to create an internship at a five-star resort in Portugal. She returned to the U.S. and worked in a variety of culinary fields from fine dining in New York City to charter chef for a major airline. Chef Bernardino is tri-lingual in English, Portugese, and Spanish. SHe has found her home here at Marion P. Thomas.
