Mental health encompasses our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, influencing our thoughts, emotions, actions, stress management, relationships, and decision-making. The mental well-being of students can impact their academic performance. Schools play a vital role in preventing suicide, with teachers, mental health professionals, and all school staff who engage with students having a crucial role in ensuring their safety. Comprehending the challenges related to suicide and mental health is a crucial step in engaging in suicide prevention, assisting those in crisis, and reshaping discussions on suicide.
Suicide Prevention and Other Traumatic Loss
Suicide presents a significant public health concern, resulting in pain, suffering, and impacting the community at large. Below are resources available to our village community for individuals in need of services.
